With the current global digital revolution, there is need for schools in Africa to take full advantage of modern technology to increase their effectiveness, efficiency, productivity, growth and impact. Skoolblike (School Portal) is borne out of a passion to provide schools in Africa especially in Nigeria the reliable IT based tools and knowledge needed for smooth, efficient and effective academic system / school management in both public and private schools.

Functionalities

1. Post Feeds: Users of the portal can post feeds and express themselves, get likes from other users.

3. Mailing System: Users of this system can send private message to one another, which would also reflect on their email address.

5. Bulk SMS: The system sends Bulk sms to all parents, staff or student. You filter it to send to selected staffs, parents or student. You even send sms to a specific class or classes.

7. Fee Section: The system tracked the school fee of every student, parents can at any point in time track fee status of their child(ren) and print out their invoice. They can also pay school fees online (as requested by school).

9. Birthdays: The system helps the Human resource keep track of birthdays. It gives a display pop-up display of everyone that has a birthday and can send a birthday SMS if admin pleases.

11. Medical Section: System helps to hold medical reports of every student in the school.

13. Attendance Taking: The system takes accurate attendance of students. Biometric Recognition System can be used here. (as requested by school) else the teachers take the attendance from the system directly in one click of a button.

17. Online Tests/Quiz (CBT): The system allows the teachers to set Computer Based Test either for practice or a real time test/quiz. Our WAEC and JAMB question practice would soon be available.
